Architectural flower

I'm so pleased with the way my architectural flower broach  has turned out. It is based on the Contemporary Geometric Beadwork Vol II book by Kate McKinnon.
I truly couldn't decide which side was going to be up or down. So instead of committing to one, I went the easy way and it can be worn either way. I created an interlocking crystal component (thank you Jean Power for the "Interlocking Crystals" tutorial) which fits beautiful in the centre. Because this component is split in the middle it is easy to move the pin and reposition it depending on your preference.
Here are some photos of the finished flower.
