I`m having a bit of a designer's block and so while playing with beads I've created another pod cast. This one has 6 points and is in my favourite colour combo (black and white). It will be traelling with me to France for the CGB meet-up in Limoges at the begining of October. Can't wait :)
I love wearing the silver Power Puff bangle I made last year and decided that I obviously needed one in black and white (with some red thrown in). Inspired by Jean Power :)
I'm really pleased with how this basket bad has turned out. Just waiting to insert the lining and it'll be ready to be listed. Hope you like.
My hubby asked me yesterday how long have I`ve been working on this bag and having looked at the dates in my photo albums I was astonished to realise that it`s been just over a month! How time flies when you are having fun. Anyway here`s a close up of the top of the bag which still has a way to go and I need to figure out and make a handle/wrist band. Hope you like! As always inspired by Contemporary Geometric Beadwork and Kate McKinnon
Heres a little snippet of what I'm currently working on! 3cm more to finish the main body and than on to the closure and clasp. Im living the way its turning out though. Design inspured by Kate McKinnon and CGB
I've been trying to make beaded flowers to dress up my new beaded clutch (which is still under construction 😊). I fell in love with all the stunning triangle flower patterns that can be seen on Contemporary Geometric Beadwork blog. I wanted the petals to have a rounded edge and this is what I ended up with. Inspired by Contemporary Geometric Beadwork.
I've been busy with other "things" with not much time left to bead but also not much of an inspiration lately! So it's taking me a while but I'm have finally started on a beaded bag 😊 I'm planing to add some 3-D flowers to the front but I'll see when both sides are done 😊
After trying a few different clasps I decided on the open square within an open square. I like that the clasp also twists a bit to mimic the warped squares that my new necklace is made of. Anyway I hope that you like it 😊 inspired by Contemporary Geometric Beadwork with Kate Mckinnon
While thinking about a design for a new necklace, I've been playing with colours and patterns, From the samples I made a few new bangles in my favourite colours. There's a new one that I call a modern tribal and some Scottish tartan thrown in for a good measure, as well as two with a geometric pattern. Hope you like 😊
Just realised that I haven't posted any photos of my zigzag bracelet which is all finished. I considered a few different clasps but decided to extend it's length and attached 4 snap fasteners. This way the zigzag pattern is uninterrupted but you can still see the overlap. Anyway I love wearing it 😊
